This is our first house concert in a few years and we’re extremely excited to be hosting Trent Wagler & the Steel Wheels. This trio from the Shenandoah Valley are on the road and stopping off in Pittsburgh. Although classified as Original Oldtime and Americana Music, they are much more – this is Roots Music. Acoustic Music ranging from old time, country folk, with elements of funk, soul, and the blues. Trent has been a singer/songwriter playing solo in the Shenandoah Valley since 2002. The Steel Wheels joined Trent in January of 2005, adding a fresh sound and exciting energy. The Steel Wheels are Brian Dickel on Bass and Eric Brubaker on Fiddle. Their musical influences range from Townes Van Zandt, Jerry Garcia, Stephane Grappelli, Norman Blake to Ben Harper, and Ani DiFranco. |

The festival is designed to impact and assist with the revitalization of the Wilkinsburg community. Their goal is to REDD UP Wilkinsburg and surrounding communities by raising awareness of environmental issues, expanding community educational outreach, and encouraging community involvement through activism and volunteering.
